We spent the night at a hotel in Bremerton, right on the Marina. We got to explore a little bit in the morning before heading out to the Olympic Peninsula.
We drove north through Port Angeles, went up Hurricane Ridge while all the girls slept in the car, and then made it to La Push by supper time. We were all so glad to see the ocean! Jane learned how to say "ocean" pretty quickly.

This big tree was on the beach when we visited in 2010 on our honeymoon, and on this trip the girls loved to play inside of it and climb around on it. It's a little further up the beach now, but I don't think it's going anywhere.
