Ferd's Bog -- July 5

We were in Inlet, New York in Adirondack State Park for the 4th of July, and the week following.  Grammy flew us out to Buffalo, and we had a great time with Great Grammy, Grandpa Guy, my aunt Karen and uncle Dennis and their children and their 7 grandchildren, my uncle David and his family, my uncle Scott, and Grammy and Nellie.

We arrived in Inlet on the 4th, but the fireworks were rained out until the next day.  It's  a great place to see the fireworks because they set them off on the lake on a barge, and you can watch from the beach.  Hazel like imagining that each firework was a different shape (a car, a butterfly, etc.) and Vivian was clearly impressed by how very noisy they were.

Our first adventure was to Ferd's Bog, and Nellie came with us.  It's a pretty short walk, but it's neat because it's so open at the end of the trail, when everything is otherwise fairly densely forested.
