Park County Fair -- July 29

My uncle Ned and aunt Cindy took us to see the animals at the Park County Fair, and Cindy helped Hazel pet a horse, a cow, a Navajo-Churro sheep, and an alpaca.

There was also a reptile exhibit, which included turtles, a few alligators, geckos, lots of snakes, a tarantula, and a few other exciting critters.

At Granny's House -- July 28

Hazel and Vivian brought their bicycles, but I didn't get a picture of Vivian.  Both girls had fun riding in the driveway, and Hazel learned to go pretty fast down the hill towards the corral.

Hazel and Vivian played with the toys at Granny's house, especially the marbles and a tube of pick up sticks.

Caity was just back from her year long mission trip in South Africa, and we were lucky to see her before she went off to Chicago for her next Lutheran adventure.

Driving to Montana -- July 27

I'm pretty sure this is not how Grandpa Van remembers the drive to Montana, but this is the only picture from the drive.  It's something like a nine hour drive, but it took us a little longer.  We did have a nice time at the Cabela's in Billings looking at taxidermy, and we did make it.

Vivian's Birthday -- July 26

Vivian's 2nd birthday was super special, because we had all of her grandparents in one place!  Grandpa Van came from Boston, and Grammy and Nellie, Nana and Grandad were all there to celebrate and eat cake with us.

Watching our guests leave at the end of the evening.

Backyard Pool -- July 15

Rings and Swings on the Playground -- July 10

Playing on the Beach -- July 10

This was our last day on the beach, and my cousin Vicky's kids, Isabella, Josh Jr. and Jasmine, were there with us for a while.
