Playing at home -- April 3

Hazel and Vivian have been playing together more lately, next to each other really.  Some toys work better than others, and Noah's ark is a good choice for both of them.  They also both like the stacking elephants.

Hazel likes to dance to "Some Nights" by Fun. (which usually involves going up on our shoulders) and I suggested one day that she put Owl "up high" instead.  Surprisingly, it worked, and she hopped around the house with Owl on her shoulders two or three times through the song.

She even put her dancing dress on!

A Morning at Home -- April 2

Gaudete -- March 27

On the drive back from Ponca, Hazel was singing a song that we couldn't quite make out.  Eventually we realized that she was singing this song, Anuna's Gaudete.  If you click through, you can watch it on YouTube.  I have a part of it as a ringtone, and Hazel listened to the same 15 seconds over and over again for a few miles.  Now that we're home, she likes to watch the whole song when she can.

Pretend Dough -- March 22

Hazel had so much fun with Erin's Play-Doh at Ponca, and Great Grammy found some for Hazel to play with at home.

Shots for Great Grammy -- March 20

When we got home from Ponca, Great Grammy was in town for a visit.  Hazel had fun with Great Grammy, and even got to practice her doctoring skills by giving Great Grammy shots in the foot.

Home Again Home Again -- March 18

After a lovely long weekend in Nebraska, it was time to go home again.  The weather wasn't as good on the way home, and opportunities for getting out and running around were fairly limited.  We made the best of it, and managed to make it home safe and sound.
