Snowies Day Trip Pt. 3 -- September 19

On the way home, we stopped in Centennial to feed the baby and play on the playground.

The pictures we take with our camera end up here, but pictures we take from our phones are sort of a pain to do that with, so we have started putting them on Instagram.  You can find those here: instagram.com/greteanemone/.

Snowies Day Trip Pt. 2 -- September 19

We did make it to Aspen Alley, and all of the little girls had their turn at napping on the way.

Snowies Day Trip Pt. 1 -- September 19

We set out with a picnic lunch on a beautifully crisp Saturday morning, with some idea where we might want to go, but without a firm plan.  We wanted to try to make it to Aspen Alley, which is about 100 miles from home, and we weren't sure we would really be up for that kind of trip.  We stopped in the Snowies for a little hike and our lunch, at our favorite trail from last summer, the Meadow Falls - Silver Lake trail.  We didn't think it would be a good idea for us to do the whole 3 miles just yet (next summer!), but we went a little ways and found a nice sunny spot to eat.

It was fairly chilly, but baby Jane was hidden from the breezes in my hoodie and wearing a fleece sleeper, and she looked super toasty.

Baptism Day -- September 13

Hazel and Vivian were excited that they could all three hold hands on the way to church.

Jane Adeline, Child of God.

Napping in the Kitchen -- September 12

Hazel and Vivian were running around the house playing a game, and so we moved Jane out of the way so that she wouldn't get bumped.  She was quite happy to sleep in the kitchen.

Family Farm Day -- September 12

We checked out the Ag Extension Family Farm Day, and while less exciting than the Park County Fair, the girls did get to see a few animals and they got balloons, so they were pretty happy. There were pigs, piglets, sheep, and two horses.  And balloons.  With bags of candy attached.  It was a good morning.

Sisters -- September 11

Hazel and Vivian are still very enthusiastic about Jane, who gets plenty of hugs, kisses, and snuggles from her big sisters every day.

Baby Jane on Day 7-- September 8

Singing Lullabies to Jane -- September 8

Hazel and Vivian came in with their microphones to sing lullabies, including "Rock-a-Bye Baby," "Sleep, Baby, Sleep," and "Jesus Christ is Risen Today."

They also both took turns holding the littlest sister.

Vivian and Jane on Day 6 -- September 7

Hazel and Vivian like to hold the baby whenever they get a chance, which is very sweet. It's also actually easier to have them holding her than not in some ways, so it works out for everyone.

Vivian was a little concerned that Emma was going to lick Jane too much, but Emma has been great with the new baby, just like the first two!

Tiny fingers!  Vivian likes to point out all of Jane's tiny features.

At the Park Again -- September 7

Hazel and Vivian have become very frequent park-goers in the past week.  They like the exercise course at Labonte Park, and have been enjoying a little novelty in parks we hadn't been to in a while.

Nana and Grandad with Jane -- September 6

Nana and Grandad came by to take the bigger little girls for the evening, and Jane was awake enough to visit with them for a bit.
